The dashboard pulls data in two ways:
Plod drafts. As your drillers save Plods through the shift, the Command Centre picks them up within about 30 seconds. Latest activity, current hole, metres drilled, and pen rate across every rig.

Measure While Drilling (MWD). Rig sensors' data feed into the same view as your Plods, so you can compare what the driller reported with what the sensors picked up, and stay on the same page as your crew.
A shift where 90 minutes of drilling gets billed as standby
Here's a scenario you'll recognise. The Plod comes in showing standby from 6am to 7am, and another half hour between 7am and 8am. Nothing unusual, standby happens.
Now open the sensor data for the same shift. Rotation was up, water was flowing. The rig was turning that whole time. Around 90 minutes of chargeable time had gone in on the Plod as standby.
Without the sensor data, that shift goes out invoiced short. One shift might be negligible. Stack that up across multiple rigs, across multiple months, and the gap starts costing real money.

Is Command Centre included with Drilling Hub?
Yes. The Plod-fed Command Centre is included on all Drilling Hub plans and works through Plod drafts. MWD sensor integration is a paid add-on.
Where is our data stored and how secure is it?
Your data is stored securely and encrypted in AWS data centres in Sydney, with access limited to authorised users in your account. CorePlan has independently assessed cybersecurity alignment to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and has completed SOC 2 Type I and Type II audits.
What is the difference between the Plod-fed Command Centre and MWD?
The Plod-fed view shows activity recorded in draft Plods. MWD adds sensor readings from the rig, giving supervisors machine activity alongside the Plod context.
Does MWD work with our existing rig sensors?
Most likely. CorePlan is built to be hardware‑agnostic, so we can often integrate with the sensors you already have on your rigs. If your vendor isn’t on our current supported list, share your sensor details with the CorePlan team and we’ll confirm compatibility and the best integration pathway before you commit.
What happens when a rig is offline or underground?
Command Centre needs an internet connection to receive new data. If a driller is offline or underground, Plod data becomes available after the device reconnects and the data syncs.
