What's new in Mining and Exploration Hub: Rig Scheduler alerts, share Pads with multiple contractors

Written by Hannah Pham

Rig Scheduler now tells you exactly why a rig has no Plod data

Easily distinguish between two reasons a rig might show no Plod data: no drilling history at all, or no Plods within the current scheduling period. Each case is called out separately, so you're not left guessing why.

Sneak peek: Big improvements are coming soon to Rig Scheduler. If you're on Professional tier and above, they'll be included in your current plan at no extra charge. Get started today with this Help Article.

Field Operations Improvements: Share pads with multiple contractors

Pad sharing now works the same way as drill hole sharing. You can share a single pad with multiple contractors. This is particularly useful for larger operations running multiple contractors across the same pads.

Managing Pad activities is part of the Field Ops Add-on: Earthwork. Ask support@coreplan.io if you’d like to learn more about customising your Field Activities.

Other improvements

Filter drill holes by blank field values

Blank filter values now display a descriptive label like "No drilling program" instead of appearing empty, making it easier to spot holes that still need to be assigned.

Sort the date column in the Plod page in ascending order

Click the Plod date column header on the Plod page to sort in ascending or descending order, making it easier to find specific records or review data in your preferred order.

Signatures carry over when a client approves

When a client approves a Plod, their signatures on signed Plods in the tablet app are now copied from Drilling Hub to the client portal version. This matters for clients who need a fully signed record on their end for audit purposes.
