Drilling Hub Product Updates 26.3

Engine hour mismatch warning, non-billable cost contract items and more improvements.

Engine hour mismatch warning in Plods

If your engine hours don't match your active hours on a plod, you'll now get a warning before it slips through. Unrecorded activities can quietly eat into your revenue. This gives you a chance to catch and correct it early.

Contact support@coreplan.io if you want to turn this feature on.

Track consumables supplied by Clients without affecting your charges

If your client supplies items like diesel or accommodation, you can mark any consumable or miscellaneous item as Supplied by Client and usage will still be tracked in your plods, without affecting your charge calculation or cost reports.

Change Organisation Currency from your account settings

Running drilling projects across different regions?

You can now set your organisation's base currency directly from your account settings. Each project can use its local currency and CorePlan will automatically convert all costs into your base currency, giving you one unified view of productivity and costs across every site.

Improvements to Contract Rise & Falls

Contract Rise & Falls helps you and your clients manage cost contract revisions inside CorePlan. Instead of manually overriding plods or duplicating contracts, teams can send revisions for approval and apply approved new rates to the right timeframe.

We've made a few improvements to make that process smoother:

  • Plods can still be submitted while a revision is in draft or pending approval

  • Plods containing items modified in the revision can't be approved until the contract revision is approved

  • Items already used in past plods cannot be deleted from the draft cost contract. This protects historical plod data and keeps previous records intact

  • New items added during a revision can be deleted while it's still in draft or pending approval

  • If a draft revision is deleted, any new items it added to plods are also removed

Forms Improvements

Forms helps you document site inspections, raise follow-ups and track them through to completion. We've made a few improvements:

  • Form Templates Versioning: You can now make changes to a form template without affecting the live version, and publish for your team to use when you're ready. You can also revert to any of the last 10 versions if needed.

  • Corrective Actions closure comments: When closing or actioning an item, you can now add a comment.

  • Form Templates Versioning: We've introduced versioning to Forms. This means you can make changes to a form without affecting the live version, and publish when you're ready. You can also revert to any of the last 10 versions if needed.

    • add graphic
